(FOLEYET, ON) – On September 11, 2015 at approximately 5 pm, Apex International Inc. located the missing helicopter in a heavily wooded area south west of the point of origin. Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Emergency Response Team (ERT), Foleyet Detachment, South Porcupine Detachment attended the scene.
Two bodies have been confirmed to be at the location of the crash. The identities will not be confirmed until after post mortem has been completed. Transportation Safety Board (TSB) Canada and the Regional Coroner is also attending the crash scene for investigative purposes.
