For over 17 years Wingham Police Officers have wanted to disband. This revelation at the last council meeting allegedly shocked councillors, and went over the heads of the majority of them. Even the Wingham Police don’t want to be Wingham Police! Details will undoubtedly be revealed at the special town hall meeting 26Feb2018.
You are probably wondering why this information was kept from the Public, who knew and kept it quiet, and why such extreme lengths were used to silence and discredit those that promote the upgrading of our Officers to OPP.
The reason is self evident. Those who suppressed this critical information clearly wanted the status-quo, despite the risks to our Officers and Community. These people are referred to as the Old Boys Club, mostly comprised of afterlife scammers, used car salesmen and Police Service Board members. Their self interest overrides their moral compass. If they could find a buyer for one of their mother’s kidneys, Mommy would likely wake up in a bathtub full of ice cubes. The worst of the OBC show up to meetings and slander the OPP.
The Old Boys Club has/had so much power, even the men with guns (Winghamite Officers) were reluctant to speak up until now.
