(Ottawa)—The Ottawa Police Service Guns and Gangs Unit is now confirming an open investigation from an alleged shooting investigation from November 16th, 2015.
On November 16th, at approximately 11:00 pm, patrol officers attended the Rothbury Crest and Provender Avenue area in relation to possible gunshots. No victims and no suspects were located on scene. There was also no evidence found at the time.
The investigation now confirms through evidence that a shooting did take place. Shell casings have been located.
Guns and Gangs continue the investigation, and are seeking witnesses.
