Ottawa Police seeks assistance in solving the robbery of a postal worker

(Ottawa) The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is seeking the public’s assistance in solving the robbery of a Canada Post employee.

On October 3, 2013, at approximately 3:10 pm, a female postal worker was robbed by two males in the lobby of a building situated along the 1400 block of Heron Rd. The victim entered the building and observed two suspects enter behind her. The suspects prevented her from leaving and one brandished a knife. The suspects made a demand for the victim’s phone and wallet. Having obtained these items, the two suspects then left. There were no injuries.

The suspects are described as follows (see three attached images):

Suspect # 1: Black male, 20-25 yrs old, 6’0” (183cm), 200 lbs + (91kg+), wearing a baseball cap, and a red/black checkered jacket.

Suspect # 2: Black male, 20-25 yrs old, 5’8” (173cm), possibly had dreadlocks, thin build, wearing a black baseball cap, a shiny black jacket, and black pants.
