Ottawa Police seeks assistance in solving a pharmacy robbery

(Ottawa) The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is seeking the public’s assistance in solving a recent pharmacy robbery.

On January 4, 2014, at approximately 12:15 pm., a lone female entered a pharmacy situated near Lorry Greenberg Drive and Conroy Road. The female suspect loitered outside the store for a period of time before entering. The suspect produced a large kitchen knife and made a demand for a prescription drug. The suspect left the store with an undisclosed quantity of the drug demanded. There were no injuries reported from the incident.

The suspect is described as being a Caucasian female, approximately 5’5” (165 cm), medium build, dark hair. She was wearing an oversized, beige, 3/4 length winter coat with the hood up, black pants with the bottom hems tucked into black winter boots, and a red or burgundy coloured long sleeve top under the coat.(see attached images)
