(Ottawa) The Ottawa Police Service is presently conducting an investigation involving a single motor vehicle. This collision occurred this morning at 9:50am at the intersection of Montcrest Drive and Beauregard Crescent in the east end of Ottawa.
The roadway on Montcrest Drive between Watters Road and Beauregard Crescent had been closed for the duration of the investigation.
An 86 year old female driver was the sole occupant of the vehicle. She was transported to area hospital by Ottawa Paramedics with life threatening injuries.
The identity of the driver is not being released at this time.
Ottawa Police Collision Investigation Unit is investigating this collision. There is no further information at this time.
