(Ottawa) The Ottawa Police Service Sexual Assault & Child Abuse Section is investigating an incident where a male assaulted a young woman in the Beaverbrook area of the city’s west end.
On Monday, September 23, 2013, an incident was reported to Ottawa Police after a male approached a female in Gow Park and pulled her into a wooded area. The female struggled with the male until he ran north into Lytle Park. The male was arrested a short time later.
The name of the accused cannot be released due to the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act. He was charged with Assault and Forcible Confinement and will appear in court later today.
