Ottawa man charged with historical Sexual Offences

(Ottawa) On Tuesday, December 23, 2014, the Ottawa Police Service Sexual Assault & Child Abuse Section charged an Ottawa man in relation to a historical Sexual Assault.

An investigation was commenced in June of 2014 when an adult female complained of being sexually assaulted when she was approximately 10 years old.

Andrew DAVIS, 70 years old, of Ottawa, was charged with one count of Indecent Assault on a Female and Attempted Rape, pursuant to the Criminal Code of Canada from the early 1980’s.

Mr. Davis operated a school bus in the City of Ottawa in the 1990’s. The Ottawa Police are seeking any additional information relating to him; as there are concerns that there could be other victims.

He is scheduled to appear in court today for a Show Cause Hearing.
