Ottawa man charged for theft of NHL Hockey Jerseys

Ottawa)—On September 2, 2015 the Ottawa Police Service West District Investigations Unit has charged Robert CREVIER, 57 years old of Ottawa with Theft under $5000, Mischief under $5000, and Possession of stolen property in relation to the theft of NHL Hockey Jerseys.

In the evening of August 10, 2015, two autographed framed jerseys were stolen from Carlingwood Mall. The jerseys were to be auctioned at Childrens Charity Auction at the Rexall Store within the mall.

CREVIER is scheduled to appear in court on September 28th, 2015.

The public was instrumental in providing information to police that lead to the identification of the suspect and the return of the two Hockey Jerseys.
