(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service has charged an Ottawa man with driving while under the influence of alcohol.
On Saturday, December 19, 2015, at approximately 2:40am, a patrol officer intercepted a vehicle going southbound on Woodroffe Avenue. The vehicle was travelling 152 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone. The driver was found to be intoxicated.
Shane FAGAN, 33 years old of Ottawa, was charged with Impaired operation of a motor vehicle and Exceed 80 milligrams blood alcohol content. FAGAN had his driver’s license suspended for 90 days and his vehicle was impounded for 7 days.
