(BRUCE PENINSULA ON) The Ontario Provincial Police(OPP) as part of an annual celebration is recognizing their retired veterans both civilian and uniform this coming June 6, 2013 in Orillia, Ontario.
The Bruce Peninsula and Grey County OPP are planning a joint appreciation day for Friday June 7, 2013 starting at 11:00a.m. and ending at 3:00p.m. The location for the event will be at 50 Berford Street, Wiarton, Ontario home of the Bruce Peninsula OPP.
There will be displays of new equipment such as police cruisers, boats, ATV’s and snowmobiles. There will also be guided tours of the Bruce Peninsula detachment. A light lunch and refreshments will be available.
