(HURON COUNTY, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police Detachment members along with members from the West Region Tactics and Rescue Unit (TRU), Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Crisis Negotiators will be holding a training exercise on Wednesday, May 16, 2012. The training scenario will start at 8:00 a.m. and will finish around 4:00 p.m. Approximately 50 officers will be utilized in the training scenario.
An OPP command post will be stationed at Colborne Welding located at 36949 School Road and the training scenario will unfold at the vacant Colborne Public School building located at 37020 School Road, Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh, ON.
Public access to Colborne Public School and Colborne Welding will not be permitted during the training scenario. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
