(HURON COUNTY, ON) Huron County OPP Auxiliary Acting Staff Sergeant Wayne McConnell reports the 2011 “Stuff a Cruiser†food drive was a great success. The Huron OPP Auxiliary unit would like to thank all the generous people that donated food, gifts and money. Auxiliary members collected over 4, 000 pounds of food and nearly $500 during these events. Officers collected food at local grocery stores located in Wingham, Exeter and Goderich. The food and money will be distributed to those in need through the Salvation Army, Exeter Community Food Bank and the Goderich Knox Presbyterian Church Christmas Bureau.
