(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH AND ST.MARYS, ON) On Saturday December 08, 2012, Perth County OPP officers were privileged to experience the generosity of the public as they conducted a toy drive in Listowel and St.Marys.
Officers set up their cruisers and police vehicles in front of the WalMart store in Listowel and the Canadian Tire store in St.Marys from 9:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. They informed shoppers of their goal to stuff their cruisers with new-unwrapped toys for kids of needy families. Officers were touched by the giving spirit of residents as they packed toys in every available space in their vehicles.
