(BRANT TWP, ON) – On January 21st, 2012 at 10:50 am, the South Bruce OPP was called to the scene of a single vehicle crash along Bruce County Road 10 in Brant Township. Preliminary investigation reveals a pick up truck collided with a pedestrian on Bruce County Road 10.
The pedestrian, a 21 year old Brant Township man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigation unit is assisting the South Bruce OPP at the scene.
Bruce County Road 10 has been closed between Concession 14 and Concession 12, Brant Township. The cooperation of the public is appreciated in avoiding the incident area.
The investigation is in its early stages. Further information will be released as it becomes available. Anyone that may have witnessed the collision is asked to call the South Bruce OPP or Crime Stoppers.
