(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH SOUTH, ON) On Saturday August 13, 2011 OPP officers conducted marine patrol on Wildwood Lake and checked 43 watercraft. Officers were looking for required safety equipment usage, liquor licence act violations and small vessel and shipping act adherence. Three warnings for minor infractions were given while one boat operator was charged for not having a boating card.
OPP marine patrols will continue on Wildwood Reservoir for the remainder of the boating season.
