Due to the very hot, dry conditions the area is currently experiencing, the Chief Fire Official for the Town of Hanover has issued a ban on all open air fires within the Town of Hanover, effective immediately. The Ministry of Natural Resources indicates that Hanover is currently in a high fire danger zone. This means that fire danger is serious and extreme caution must be used. This ban applies to all campfires and recreational fires and will be in place until further notice. Thank you for your cooperation.
