One Pound Of Fentanyl Seized In Drug Bust – Names And Addresses Released

In August 2016, members of the HRPS – Drug and Morality Unit (DMU) became engaged in a drug trafficking investigation. The investigation subsequently led to the identification of several persons believed to be involved in illegal drug trade in the Regions of Halton, Peel, and Hamilton. On November 16, 2016, six search warrants were executed on both residential and business locations. Five individuals were arrested and charged with various drug and weapons offences. This investigation is still ongoing and additional charges and arrests are pending.

2.3 kg of cocaine

380 gr of methamphetamine

1 lb of fentanyl

284 gr cannabis marihuana

63 ecstasy pills

small amount of ketamine

small amount of crack cocaine

$125,000.00 Canadian currency

2 kg of cutting agents

4 vehicles: Ford F150, Nissan Rogue, BMW-X5, BMW-C20

Estimated street value of seized drugs: $300,000.00
