(HOWICK, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) with the assistance of the West Region OPP Technical Collision Investigation (TCI) Team continue to investigate an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) crash that took place in Fordwich over the weekend.
On Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 6:13 p.m. Huron OPP, Bruce County Paramedic Services and Howick Fire Department members responded to an ATV rollover crash that took place in Fordwich near the intersection of William Street and Victoria Street.
The driver/lone rider of the ATV lost control of his machine and was ejected from the machine while attempting to make a turn at a high rate of speed. The driver, a 27-year-old male from Howick was transported from the scene by land ambulance to a local hospital and was later transported to hospital in Toronto by Air Ornge.
His injuries are considered serious.
