Despite the failed state of Wingham, there is hope thanks to the Ontario Ombudsman. Their Office is now involved and investigating our winter sidewalk issue. Now town council has to defend the potentially deadly practice of dumping snow on our sidewalks and making pedestrians walk in traffic on slippery winter roads. The next council meeting is 18Jan2016 7pm at Wingham town hall.
Rubber stamped budgets and raises, council cowering to department heads, and a silenced Public have led to the highest tax rate in Ontario and our town literally falling apart. If you deny this, you likely are one of the ones suckling at the Wingham taxpayer teat and helped suck the town dry while filling it with rot and decay due to your greed and apathy. Shame on you for enabling the destruction of a once vibrant and thriving town just so you could fill your pockets with taxpayer funds.
