On January 24, 2015 at approximately 215am, several males engaged in a verbal confrontation in
the area of 75 University Avenue West, Waterloo. A male youth brandished what appeared to be a pistol. A physical altercation ensued and police were contacted and identified several witnesses. The male youth was later arrested. It was determined that the pistol was a pellet gun and it was recovered. A 17 year old Waterloo male was released on a charge of Possession of a Weapon for A Dangerous Purpose. No injuries resulted from this incident.
