On July 24, 2014, police were called to Dundas St S. in the Township of North Dumfries for reports of a male brandishing a large axe, causing damage to a motor vehicle and two of the homes in the area. The male also allegedly threatened a home owner with the axe. There were no injuries. Police have arrested a 52 year old Cambridge male who lives in the area. The male is facing charges of: Mischief Over $5000 X 2, Mischief under $5000, Weapons Dangerous and Fail to Comply with Recognizance X 2. He is being held for a show cause hearing
