Police responded to a reported disturbance of a female screaming at a Dunlop St E. address. Further investigation revealed it was a verbal domestic dispute between the resident couple. During this time a 21 year old female non-resident was located hiding in a closet. The female identified herself verbally by one name but was subsequently determined to be lying and her true identity revealed a series of outstanding arrest warrants. The female was arrested for obstruction of police and will have a morning bail hearing charged with the following offences contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
Obstruct Police Officer, Failure to appear at court, Theft Under $ 5000, Fraud under $ 5000, Unlawfully in a dwelling house and failure to appear for the identification of criminals
