Numerous Mailboxes Damaged In Perth South

(PERTH SOUTH, ON) -Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) wants to advise of several incidents of mailbox vandalism which have occurred in the County recently.

On February 22, 2017 a mailbox was reported damaged overnight on Line 46 in Municipality of West Perth.

On March 1, 2017 another mailbox was reported damaged overnight on Line 15 in the Township of Perth South.

On March 8, 2017 multiple mailboxes were reported damaged overnight on the Perth Oxford Road and on Perth Road 115 in the Township of Perth South.

The Perth County OPP is requesting anyone with information that can assist police to call 1-888-310-1122 or (519) 393-6123. Should you wish to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or submit a secure web-tip at http://www.pc-crimestoppers.ca/, where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.

The OPP is asking residents to be vigilant in recognizing suspicious people or vehicles that are in your neighborhoods. It is important for this information to get to police when the suspects may still be in the area.
