Notice of Public Meeting to Consider Planning Applications – Harmony Holsteins (Hamel) Z-15-18.34 & Z – 16-18.34

A Public Meeting will be held during the regularly scheduled Council Meeting on Monday, May 28, 2018 at 7:00 p.m.

This Public Meeting will be held in the Council Chambers of the County of Bruce, 30 Park Street, Walkerton to consider the Planning Applications for 1010 Sideroad 25 N (Part of Lot 26, Concession 10, geographic Township of Brant) and 242 Concession 8 (Lot 29, Concession 9, geographic Township of Brant).

For Z-15-18.34 / 1010 Sideroad 25 N – The applicants propose to create a ‘surplus farm dwelling lot’ having an area of +/- 1.72 ha (3.13 ac); and, to rezone part of the retained farm lot from ‘A1 – General Agriculture to ‘A1-1 General Agriculture Special’ to prohibit a future dwelling on the retained lands. The related consent application will include a condition that the ‘grain bin’ adjacent to the proposed severed lot be removed.

For Z-16-18.34 / 242 Concession 8 – The applicants also propose to create a ‘surplus farm dwelling lot’ having an area of +/- 0.75 ha (1.86 ac); and, to rezone part of the retained farm lot from ‘A1 – General Agriculture to ‘A1-1 General Agriculture Special’ to prohibit a future dwelling on the retained lands. The related consent application will include a condition that the existing septic bed be located wholly on the new lot.
