TAKE NOTICE that the Council of The Corporation of the City of Owen Sound deemed the following application to amend the Comprehensive Zoning By-law, a complete application under Section 34 of the Planning Act, RSO 1990, Chapter P. 13, as amended.
TAKE NOTICE that the Council of The Corporation of the City of Owen Sound will hold a public meeting to consider a proposed Zoning By-law Amendment under Section 34 of the Planning Act, RSO 1990, Chapter P. 13, as amended.
PURPOSE AND EFFECT:
The subject lands are zoned Heavy Industrial (M2) and Hazard Lands (ZH) in accordance with the City’s Comprehensive Zoning By-law 2010-078, as amended. The purpose of the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment is to rezone that portion of the subject lands which is zoned Heavy Industrial (M2) to General Industrial (M1). This would permit, among other uses, a community lifestyle facility which is proposed to be relocated from a nearby location. No change is proposed to the portion of the subject lands which is zoned Hazard Lands (ZH).
