Notice of Amendment to City’s Procedural By-law

TAKE NOTICE that the Council of The Corporation of the City of Owen Sound,

pursuant to the Municipal Act, 2001 and City Policy No. CrS-C29, is giving notice that

Council will be considering a By-law to amend the City’s Procedural By-law No.

2007-242, as amended to revise the Regular Council Agenda Format to remove the

Faith Blessing or Moment of Silent Reflection.

A public meeting will be held during the Regular Council meeting on May 11,

2015 at 7:00 p.m. at the City Hall Council Chambers, 808 2nd Avenue East, Owen

Sound, to allow the public an opportunity to comment on the amendment.

The By-law will be brought forward for Council’s consideration at the May 25, 2015

Regular Council meeting.

Written and verbal comments will be considered at the public meeting on May 11,

2015. Written comments can be submitted to Briana Bloomfield, Deputy Clerk at

808 2nd Avenue East, Owen Sound, Ontario N4K 2H4 or [email protected]

until May 6, 2015 at 4:30 p.m.

The personal information is collected under the authority of the Municipal Act, 2001.

The information collected will be used to complete the Procedural By-law

Amendment process and will form part of the public record. Questions about this
