As part of the MacNaughton Park Dam Rehabilitation, an engineering inspection of the
structure is required. In order to carry out this inspection, it is necessary to lower the
water level in the reservoir. Beginning June 10, 2015 the low-flow valve will be opened
to lower the reservoir water level. Once the level is lowered sufficiently, the inspection of
the structure will occur and then the reservoir will be slowly refilled. Depending on
weather conditions, it is expected that the reservoir will be back to its normal level in a
couple of weeks.
