NORTH HURON’S EMERGENCY SERVICES TRAINING CENTRE EXPANDS TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES WITH FIREMASTER OILFIELD SERVICES

The Emergency Services Training Centre (ESTC) in Blyth has taken their partnership with Firemaster Oilfield Services of Red Deer AB to the next level. Established in 1980, Firemaster is an ISO accredited world leader in Industrial Emergency Training.

The first course offering in 2013, an NGL (Natural Gas Liquid) Flaring course for Enbridge Pipelines Inc. of Sarnia, was an incredible success. This led to further negotiations with Firemaster and we are pleased to announce that the ESTC has been approved to deliver 43 Industrial Emergency courses that are new to Ontario. Firemaster courses are in high demand across North America and the ESTC is excited to further develop this relationship.

“The ESTC is the only training facility outside of Alberta and British Columbia approved to deliver these courses. We are thrilled to have Firemaster Oilfield Services recognize the integrity and professionalism of the ESTC and the courses that we deliver.” said Stephanie Currie, Program Coordinator at the ESTC. “This project has been in the works for several months and we are pleased to see it become a reality.”

The ESTC, owned by the Township of North Huron, is a world-class facility providing firefighter and emergency responder training for municipalities and companies. Through partnerships with accredited training providers, the ESTC provides the high quality instruction that responders need to deal with today’s ever changing demands.
