At last night’s Committee of the Whole meeting, Deputy Mayor David
Raich read a statement clasped in his trembling hands. David
Raich stated that he did in fact contact Mr. Knott’s employer and
that he identified himself as a councillor for North Huron.
Deputy Raich said he did not have a problem identifying himself as
he did make the call, and claimed he did not know who the second caller
was, or if there was a second caller. David Raich stated that the
call was to complain about Mr. Knott’s professionalism and comments
made on Wingham Free Press.
