Norman Harrison – Luring A Child

On Wednesday, July 31, 2013 the London Police Cyber Crime Unit arrested a London man after an Internet luring investigation that began on July 30.

As a result of evidence obtained, 49-year-old Norman Harrison was charged with the following Criminal Code of Canada offences:

Two counts of telecommunication with person believed to be under 18 for a criminal purpose, contrary to section 172.1(1)(a)

Telecommunication with person believed to be under 16 for a criminal purpose, contrary to section 172.1(1)(b)

The London Police Service is a member of the Provincial Strategy to protect children from sexual abuse and exploitation on the internet. The Strategy has been made possible by a grant from the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services.
