(ASHFIELD-COLBORNE-WAWANOSH, ON) – On March 1, 2012 at approximately 10:30 p.m. Huron OPP officers stopped a red Toyota Tacoma pickup truck that entered a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E) checkpoint located at the intersection of Bluewater Highway and Saltford Road.
Upon speaking with the male driver, officers noted he had been consuming alcohol.
Noah SOMMER, age 32, from Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh has been charged with Drive with Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol. He has a scheduled court appearance at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on April 30, 2012. He was issued a 90 day automatic drivers licence suspension.
