(KINCARDINE, ON) – On February 4th, 2011 at 2:17 am, a South Bruce OPP officer was on patrol along Russell Street, Kincardine when 2 snowmobiles were observed riding along the sidewalk. The snowmobiles were stopped and all documentation was found to be in order. Both riders were warned for riding on the sidewalk before being allowed to drive away.
The Municipality of Kincardine bylaw 2009-006, Part XXI, prohibits the use of motorized snow vehicles at any public park, athletic field, beach, cemetery, sidewalk or pedestrian right of way.
