(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) At approximately 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday 09, 2011, a Perth County OPP officer observed a blue pickup truck in Line 66 North West of Monkton. The officer conducted a traffic stop in an attempt to ascertain if this truck was the pickup which had been reported stolen from Mitchell earlier in the day.
The male driver was unable to produce a driver’s licence and subsequent checks revealed that the 47 year old driver from the Municipality of North Perth had never been licensed in Ontario. The truck was also found to be un-insured and that the licence plates were unauthorized for the vehicle.
The driver was served three summonses to appear in Stratford Court on March 22, 2011 to answer to these charges. The truck was not one of the stolen vehicles.
