On Saturday September 22, 2012 at 11:35 a.m., Guelph Police attended to a party at a residence on Harrow Court, Guelph at the request of City of Guelph Bylaw Enforcement. Officers attended and spoke to a male resident who requested that they remove a male from the residence. The male was asked to leave by the officers; he refused and began yelling obscenities. The male was advised that he was under arrest, and he pulled away. A struggle ensued, and the two officers and suspect fell to the floor. The male yelled and began kicking at the officers in the legs and torso area. Several officers responded and assisted in bringing the male under control and he was arrested without incident. Two of the officers received cuts and abrasions to their hands and arms but did not seek medical treatment.
Nico GIORGIO 19 years of Bolton was charged with Fail to Leave Premise When Directed, Resist Arrest, and two counts of Assault Police. He was held for a Bail Hearing.
