(CENTRE WELLINGTON TWP, ON) On Friday June 28th 2013, at approximately 9:45am, the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted stationary radar on Beatty Line at Side Road 18 in Centre Wellington Township. Constable Angela Stiles observed a 2012 Ford travelling Southbound at a high rate of speed. The male driver of the motor vehicle was locked in the radar travelling at 106 km/h in a 50 km/h zone.
Nick MOCHRIE age 24 of Fergus is charged with Race a Motor Vehicle. His driver’s licence and vehicle were seized for a period of 7 days as per statute. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Court on the 21st of August 2013 to answer to the charge.
