(FERGUS, ON) On April 20, 2013 at approximately 1:58pm County of Wellington OPP officers were dispatched to a residence on Scotland St Fergus, regarding a suspicious person complaint. Police were provided a description of the male suspect, who was located a short time later on the Elora Cataract Trail. He was taken into custody without incident.
Nicholas Waxel, age 51 of Nichol Township has been charged with the following:
Mischief under $5,000, Breach of Recognizance, Criminal Harassment, Carrying a Concealed Weapon, and Assault with Intent to Resist Arrest, all contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
He will be held in custody awaiting a bail hearing on April 22, 2013.
