(PUSLINCH TOWNSHIP, ON) – On Saturday July 27, 2013 at approximately 10:50pm, a County of Wellington OPP officer was advised by a motorist of a possible impaired driver travelling south on Brock Road. Police located the 1992 Mercury Sable stopped in a church parking lot. Police spoke with the driver, who showed signs of impairment by drug.
Nelson Vasquez, age 31, of Kitchener has been charged with Impaired Operation by Drug, and Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking. He was uncooperative with police during the arrest and as a result faces further charges of two counts of Assault – With Intenet to Resist Arrest, Mischief under $5,000.00 and Fail to Comply with Undertaking. He is being held in custody pending a bail hearing.
