(ASHFIELD-COLBORNE-WAWANOSH, ON) – An 18 year old male from Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh will have to attend court for a drug possession charge stemming from a traffic stop. At 10:22 p.m. on November 15, 2013 a Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer spotted a Pontiac sedan speeding along Bluewater Veterans Highway at Blyth Road. Officers stopped the driver for speeding and while speaking with the driver they detected the odour of marihuana. A search of the vehicle was conducted and officers found a quantity of marihuana inside.
As a result, Nathaniel SCOTT SMALL, age 18, from Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance – Cannabis Marihuana contrary to section 4 (1) Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He has a court date scheduled for the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on January 6, 2013.
