(TOWNSHIP OF GEORGIAN BLUFFS, ON) – On August 6, 2016 at approximately 1:37 a.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on a 2008 Dodge Calibre on Hwy. 6, in the Township of Georgian Bluffs after the vehicle had made an improper turn into a commercial parking lot in Springmount.
The driver, who had been drinking alcohol, was arrested for impaired driving and taken to an OPP Detachment for breath tests, which he failed.
31-year old Nathan Glen POWER of the Municipality of Meaford was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and for having a blood alcohol content of over 80 milligrams.
He is scheduled to appear in court on September 1, 2016 in Owen Sound.
