(WEST PERTH, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Perth County detachment investigated a sudden death on a snowmobile trail between Line 42 and Line 44 in the Municipality of West Perth, Ontario.
On Saturday, January 7, 2017 at approximately 5:00 p.m., Perth County OPP, West Perth Fire Department and Paramedics responded to an emergency 911 call.
Upon arrival, police and paramedics located an unresponsive 53-year-old male.
The male was subsequently pronounced deceased at the scene by the attending coroner. The death is not being treated as suspicious and foul play is not suspected.
The deceased has been identified as 53-year-old Perry TRIEMSTRA from Perth South, Ontario.
The investigation is continuing and a post-mortem examination has been scheduled for Monday January 9, 2017.
