On Sunday March 30, 2014, at 8:12 p.m., a motor vehicle collision between an SUV and a horse occurred on Northfield Drive East, north of University Ave East in Waterloo. The horse had been attached to a buggy and was running free without a driver. The SUV received major damage. No person was injured. The horse suffered injuries and is being cared for. Police are requesting the owner of the horse to call North Division Patrol at 519-650-8500 ext. 6399.
