On January 16, 2014, Waterloo Regional Police Service responded to a motor vehicle collision on Franklin Blvd in the City of Cambridge. Two pickup trucks were allegedly racing on Franklin Blvd when one lost control and crossed the center line, and became involved in a head-on collision with a silver Kia. The driver of the Kia sustained minor injuries. A 19 year old from Cambridge is charged with Dangerous Driving and Racing a Motor Vehicle. The second pick-up truck left the scene. It is described as a silver full size pick-up, crew cab with 4 persons inside.
