On February 18th, 2014 at approximately 910am, a single motor vehicle collision occurred in the area of Fountain Street North and Riverbank Drive in the Township of Woolwich. A pickup truck was travelling north on Fountain Street North when the driver lost control on a snow covered section of the road. The truck went into the east side ditch rolled over and landed on it’s roof. The driver was trapped upside down in the vehicle in the deep snow of the ditch. The driver was quickly extracated from the vehicle and transported to Cambridge Memorial Hospital. The driver’s injuries are not considered to be life threatening.
