On July 24, 2014 at approximately 11:25a.m. a collision occurred on Arthur St S approximately 900m south of Sawmill Rd in Woolwich. A 47 year old Grimsby female was driving a 2013 Hyundai northbound on Arthur St S and made a U-turn to go southbound directly in front of the path of a 78 year old Kitchener male driving a 2013 Dodge. The lone occupant of the Hyundai had no injuries, but her vehicle sustained major damage. All 3 occupants of the Dodge were transported to Grand River Hospital with minor injuries. The Dodge also sustained considerable damage. The driver of the 2013 Hyundai was charged with Careless Driving. Arthur St S was closed for almost 2 hours.
