On Monday September 8th 2014 at approximately 12:00 am a horse and buggy carrying an 18 year old male and a 16 year old female from Woolwich Township were westbound on Line 86 in Woolwich Township. The buggy was struck from behind by a 2007 Pontiac being driven by a 23 year old female from Woolwich Township. The motor vehicle left the scene. The driver and vehicle were later located. The occupants of the buggy were transported to Grand River Hospital by ambulance for medical treatment of minor injuries and released.
