On Thursday January 30th, at 10:54 p.m. police responded to a hit and run collision at the intersection of King Street North and University Avenue east in the city of Waterloo. The suspect motor vehicle was described as driving erratically on King Street North approaching University Avenue. The motor vehicle had its four-way flashers on and allegedly failed to stop for two red lights. It was then allegedly involved in a three motor vehicle crash at King Street North and University Avenue. After colliding with one motor vehicle it left the scene and continued northbound on King Street North. The suspect motor vehicle is described as red in colour with damage to the driver’s side door and front left panel. Police are appealing to the public for assistance in this investigation and are requesting anyone with information to contact the Waterloo Regional Police Service North Division at 519 650 8500 ext. 6399.
