3 off duty Barrie Police officers, 2 on the way to work and 1 returning home from work stopped to assist at a motor vehicle/snowmobile accident on county road 27 near the village of APTO, Springwater, yesterday evening. Barrie officers assisted with the involved persons and with traffic until the OPP and other emergency services arrived.
