(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Sexual Assault and Child Abuse (SACA) Section investigation into allegations of sexual assault against a music teacher resulted in an additional charge.
Jose HERNANDEZ, 70 years old of Brantford Ontario is charged with an additional count of Sexual Assault after a third victim was identified during the investigation.
The allegations against HERNANDEZ are believed to have occurred between 2010 and 2016 while the accused was in the course of his duties as a music teacher at a private studio in Ottawa.
HERNANDEZ will be appearing in court on October 25th 2016.
Investigators are concerned there could be more victims. The investigation continues.
The Ottawa Police will respect a victim’s wishes to pursue or not pursue the matter before the courts
