On March 2, 2015 James Willits (29 years) was assaulted in his apartment at 297 Baseline Road West, London ON. Sadly, Willits died of his injuries and the London Police Major Crime Section took carriage of this homicide investigation.
As a result, on March 3, 2015, Steven ANTONE and Ronald (Travis) CHRISJOHN were charged with Second Degree Murder. ANTONE was further charged with Robbery; but his whereabouts were unknown to police and thus warrants were issued for his arrest.
As the investigation progressed, on March 27, 2015 Brandon NICHOLS was arrested and charged with Robbery in relation to James Willits. Both NICHOLS and CHRISJOHN are still in custody for their offences at this time.
On May 6, 2015, officers from the London Police Major Crime Section, Investigative Response Unit and the Ontario Provincial Police R.O.P.E Squad tracked ANTONE to a residence on Arbour Glen Crescent in London. At 5:08 pm Steven ANTONE was arrested for Second Degree Murder and Robbery and taken into custody.
Also from the same residence, an adult male and adult female were arrested for Accessory After the Fact. The investigation into these charges is still on-going. The offence of Accessory After the Fact is defined in the Canadian Criminal Code as anyone who
